Getting familiar with the snow and skiing from 3 years old
Objective: learn to ski while having fun in a 100% safe environment.
Our snow gardens are specially equipped with snow wires and magic carpets for children under 6 years old.
They have games to help children learn to ski while having fun in a dedicated area. Sifflote, Garolou, Blanchot and Titourson will be there to guide them throughout the week!

The meal option is available for children from 4 years old who are registered for the Ourson or Flocon group lessons.

For children over 5 years old who are registered in the Ourson and Flocon levels, do not buy a lift pass and wait for the instructor's indications during the week.

Skipass Information

My child is under 3 years old, can he/she join the Piou-Piou Club?
We welcome children at the Piou-Piou Club from 3 years who already go to school.
During the busy school holiday periods, it will not be possible to register your child for the Piou-Piou Club. It is possible to take a 1 hour private lesson to discover skiing for the first time.
Outside school holidays and depending on the number of children in the Piou-Piou Club, a trial lesson may be possible with the agreement of the Piou-Piou Club's supervisor.
Reservation at your arrival in an esf office according to availability.
What is the programme at the Piou-Piou Club?
The daily programme is set up according to the children's pace.

Morning, afternoon or full day lessons?
Half-day lessons are recommended for 3-year-old children
If he/she is an early bird, you can register him/her for the morning lessons.
If he/she sleeps like a log, the afternoon lessons would be better.
For 4/5-year-old children, the full day lessons are possible but are quite intense.

Is it necessary to buy a lift pass?
You don't need to buy a lift pass, just wait for the instructions of your instructor.
The lift pass is free for children under 5 years old.
For children over 5 years old, a lift pass may be needed depending on the snow conditions and the progress of the group.
Will my child get a medal?
Friday is the day of the tests. Each child will be given a medal by the instructors to end the week with a friendly moment.
Do we need to rent the ski equipment?
The ski equipment is not included. You must rent skis + boots + helmet.
Your boots should fit you with only one pair of socks.
Skis: tips at chin level. Trust the experts for the adjustments.

Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.

How should I dress my child?
Warm, comfortable and waterproof jacket, overalls or ski suit.
Mittens rather than finger gloves.
Sunglasses or goggles (attached with a cord). UV protection index 3 minimum.

Should provide my child with a snack?
Yes you should give a snack to your child to put in their pocket.
Can we attend the lessons?
We understand that you want to see your child during their lessons but that will not help them to be focused on their lesson and to make progress! We have your phone number in case of any problem or if your child can't stop crying.

The Piou-Piou Club instructors have enough experience to know when children are crying because they are in a new environment and to comfort them. Communication and dialogue with their parents is essential.
